How long does it take for Cheong Tailor to design, make and deliver a new uniform?
Under normal circumstances we should be able to deliver your order within 4-6 weeks, depending upon its size, complexity and quantity. In circumstances where you require a quick turnaround we can offer an express service at additional cost. Please talk to us about your requirements and we will be happy to quote for a faster service.
How can we work with your designers to create a new uniform design?
A member of our sales team will meet with you in order to gain a full understanding of your requirements. This information will then be passed on to our design team and from that point we will fine-tune the designs, liaising with you to ensure that your brief is fully met. Once you have agreed to our quotation and confirmed your order with us, we will make one sample garment for your approval before proceeding to manufacture your bulk order.
Can you provide design-only services?
Depending on the complexity of the project we are able to provide design-only services. Fees for these services will vary, so please contact us for a specific quote.
How can you ensure that uniforms will fit every member of our workforce?
We provide both Made to Measure (MTM) and Standard Size uniforms. For a perfect fit we strongly recommend using our MTM service, where a specialist member of our production team will visit your workplace and take staff members’ exact measurements.
Can you provide uniforms and workwear in extra large sizes?
We can either provide uniforms using our Made to Measure service (see our answer to the question above) or you can purchase garments sized up to XXXL from our Standard Size range.
Can you copy an existing design?
We can recreate an existing design from a detailed photograph or drawings but we prefer to take the design information direct from a sample garment, as this allows us to inspect the original work in detail, assess the quality of the materials used and provide a perfect colour match for the fabric.
Can you provide a range of fabric items in our corporate colours?
If you can provide the Pantone colours used in your printed materials we can obtain an exact colour match for the fabrics to be used in your uniforms. If you want us to reproduce your company logo on the uniform then we will require a copy of the layered artwork from your graphic design department.
Do you have your own factory or do you outsource your work?
We have our own factory, which gives us flexibility to provide a range of services, from the mass production of garments to smaller, more specialised orders requiring skilled workmanship. Our factory allows us to retain full control of the production process, and this means better value and a more reliable service for our clients.
Are you able to provide fittings on-site at my business premises?
If your business is located within the areas of Singapore and Johor Bahru an on-site visit will be provided at no extra cost, provided all staff members are made available for fittings at the time of our visit. Under circumstances where fewer than five staff members can be measured, travel expenses for our team will become payable.
How can we select the right fabric for the job?
After a full consultation with you, our trained and highly experienced personnel will be able to recommend a fabric to suit both the nature of your work and the level of durability required.
Can you provide an invoice for my order?
A hard copy version of your invoice will be supplied with each delivery. Alternatively we will be happy to send you a digital version on request.
What should I do if I can’t find what I’m looking for?
We are always happy to provide guidance and advice, so if you need something special, please feel free to contact us We will set up a meeting with either a representative from our sales team or a specialist member of our production team so you can discuss your exact requirements.
What after-sales service do you offer?
An after-sales service is available for all made to measure items (in the unlikely circumstances that one of the measurements taken was not correct). In the event that a uniform needs unexpected alteration after the measurement has been agreed, we will be happy to do the work free of charge provided we are informed within two weeks of delivery.
What methods of payment do you accept?
If you are a new client we will require a 50% deposit for your first order. For subsequent orders we offer credit terms of 30 days. We are happy to accept payment either by direct bank transfer or cheque (sent to our company address). Cheques should be made payable to Cheong Tailor.
